An atypical late-60s beachball-style boonie hat of Asian origin, made with genuine US M-1948 Invisible ERDL sateen fabric. The crown is made from six triangular panels that meet in the centre, similar to the construction of half a beachball. It has a tall brim and a top button. The brim is internally lined with hessian cloth. The sweatband is made with duck hunter fabric.
